1. Athirapally and Vazhachal Waterfalls

Athirappilly Falls is the largest waterfall in Kerala and is nicknamed "The Niagara of India". It is located on the border of Athirapally Panchayath in Chalakudy Taluk of Thrissur District and Ayyampuzha Panchayath in Aluva Taluk of Ernakulam District. Thusharagiri means “snow-capped mountain”. The gurgling waterfalls of Thusharagiri is snuggled cosily in the Western Ghats. The falls exhibit a unique kinship between the land and water.
